Staff Highlight: Lift Driver Mr Celal

One of the standout members of this team is Mr Celal, a skilled lift driver who has been making a significant impact on the company since joining. With their impressive experience and expertise, Celal has played a vital role in delivering successful projects for Ant Yapi, earning a reputation as a reliable and effective member of the team. In this blog post, we will dive deeper into Celal's background, achievements, and contributions to Ant Yapi.
Aged 60 Mr Celal has been with Ant Yapi UK for over 6 years now and has become a well-respected member of the team and external teams that he deals with on a daily basis.
As an Ant Yapi UK veteran, Mr Celal understands his key role in the company and on site in delivering the Park Modern project in Bayswater, he is incredibly punctual arriving at 7.30am every morning ready for his shift.
As lift driver he has several key responsibilities in ensuring that through traffic flows freely and doesn’t cause any delays to the project, whether transporting material or persons to various floors, with over 400 people on site at any given day, its important that he is able to respond to their needs of vertical transportation accordingly.
Equally as important is understanding who has priority over lift use, for example when investors come around or those looking to buy one of the flats, it’s important that they take precedent over workers. Mr Celal ensures this happens without delay.
One other very important feature to his role is in ensuring health & safety is adhered to when operating the lift, this is not only from a trip hazard or injury potential but also in understanding the weight limits that are placed on the lifts, from internal to external lifts at various phases of the construction project. His role is pivotal to Ant Yapi’s success and we’d like to highlight the hard work and commitment he has shown over the years!
